Workshops and Art weeks
The Linhay Studio, situated in the centre of the moor, is an ideal location to use the surrounding environment as a starting point to learn and develop ways of understanding painting and drawing. The rich colours of autumn, the strong angles of the landscape and dramatic light of this coastal region can be experienced for those ready to embrace the elements. I hope that you will find the studio a welcoming and inclusive space in which you will feel inspired to enjoy the various aspects of the courses. During the courses we will explore ways of working that you would perhaps not normally consider but be assured that you own personal style is something to be treasured.
linhay studio Days
For one day in each month from November to January and June to September we will be looking at the process and developments of creating a painting and work on homework between studio days.
London art sessions
Three hour sessions in London to draw, photograph and paint the urban landscape with direction and discussion.
LINHAY STUDIO COURSES
With two intense days of painting and drawing; each course has a different theme. Places are limited. A third day of painting is optional.
TASTER DAYS
A day of experimentation and fun giving you the ability and enthusiasm to get started on your own personal journey of drawing and painting.
About the Linhay Studio
The Studio is equipped with easels, stools, boards, palettes, paint, brushes and paper. Although students are welcome to bring their own materials for safety reasons the amount of personal items is kept to a minimum in the working space. Overalls/aprons are recommended as are boots and a warm coat for working outside, whatever the season.
